The Dragon Circle by Irene Radford

Continuing the tale that began in The Hidden Dragon, this is the story of three Terran brothers who discover a fascinating world where dragons are real-and worshiped as gods.

The Dragon's Revenge by Irene Radford

Three brothers take shelter on a pretechnological world where dragons are worshiped as gods. When the off-world forces they have fled track them down, they must find a way to save the world they've made their own.

The Dragon's Touchstone by Irene Radford

Three hundred years before the time of The Glass Dragon, Coronnan is a kingdom at war with itself. Magic is wild and magicians uncontrolled, each working separately for his own goal. At the height of this age of chaos, the dragons know they must intervene.

If you enjoyed the Dragon Nimbus series, but are interested to know a bit more about the dragons of the story, you will love this book. The Dragon's Touchstone and its sequels focus much more on the dragons and their alliance with humankind than did any of the previous books.

The Glass Dragon by Irene Radford

Dragons have recently become an endangered species, more part of legend than of life - and with their swiftly diminishing numbers, the source of all magic is fading from the land of Coronnan. And in this realm which has always been protected by its magicians, a kingdom whose ruler's own life and power is intricately linked with that of the dragons, the disappearance of these magical beasts could see the land fall to invaders.

This is a very unique take on dragons. Stories of the search for long lost knowledge have always attracted me, and this book does it very well, and privides some very interesting twists and turns. All in all, a very good read!

The Hidden Dragon by Irene Radford

Here is the tale of the first Terrans, gifted with both psi powers and technology, who discover a world where dragons are real...and are worshiped as gods.

The Last Battlemage by Irene Radford

Though the Great Wars of Disruption have come to an end, Nimbulan, the last Battlemage and the founder of the school for Communal Magic, is desperately seeking to create a permanent protection for the kingdom of Coronnan...a magic border to keep all enemies out. But his relentless search for the key to this magic leads him to a shocking discovery: not only is his long-lost wife still alive, but she and the magical dragons are now in terrible danger!

The Loneliest Magician by Irene Radford

As war rages between the armies of Coronnan and SeLenicca, an equally desperate campaign is being fought between the Commune, which uses dragon magic, and the coven, which draws its power from an older and darker source. Now, with the dragons vanished from Coronnan, driven off by the treachery of Lord Krej, the Commune has been forbidden to practice its arts.

The Perfect Princess by Irene Radford

Rogue Magic had long been banned within Coronnan's borders. But as dragon magic waned and finally vanished from the kingdom, those who had mastered these forbidden spells saw their chance to seize control of the troubled realm. And without the dragons and their magic to back his claim to the throne, Prince Darville - himself only recently freed from an enchantment that had kept him imprisoned in the form of a wolf - might soon see his realm lost to these enemies.

The Renegade Dragon by Irene Radford

Dragon magic had been the key used by Nimbulan, last and greatest of the Battlemages, to halt the devastating magic-fueled wars that threatened to destroy the fledgling kingdom of Coronnan. Yet the personal cost of peace was extremely high for Nimbulan, who ultimately lost his own magic power in the struggle to protect Coronnan and to create the Commune of Magicians.

The Wizard's Treasure by Irene Radford

Journeymen magicians Marcus and Robb have been sent on a quest by Senior Magician Jaylor to find the missing dragons of Coronnan and bring them back to the kingdom. But their quest leads to a far different discovery, an ancient treasure trove, spell-protected to trap the unwary. And even as the two are caught by the treasure's spell, unable to aid Coronnan or themselves, other events are unfolding which may forever alter the course of their kingdom's destiny.

The Dragon Prince by Melanie Rawn

Rohan, Prince of the Desert, is newly come to the throne. He must outwit the High Prince in order to protect his vast lands and to maintain peace throughout the world. Sioned, a Sunrunner witch and his chosen bride, must help him in this dangerous quest

This is a very enjoyable book. Melanie Rawn has great insight to things other authors take for granted, and in this book and its sequels, it shows. With a focus on politics and romance, with a fair share of adventure thrown in, this book is well worth its length.

The Star Scroll by Melanie Rawn

But not all is well in the world as old foes come calling and wielders of a different magic make rise for old power and glory once more.

It began as just another evening of fantasy gaming, with James, Karl, Andrea, and the rest ready to assume their various roles as wizard, cleric, warrior, or thief. But sorcerous gamemaster Professor Deighton had something else planned for this unsuspecting group of college students. And the "game" soon became a matter of life and death as the seven adventurers found themselves transported to an alternate world and into bodies of the actual characters they had been pretending to be.
