Spyro 2: Ripto's RagePlatform: Playstation After saving the world in his last adventure, Spyro and his friend Sparx decide to take a vacation to Dragon Shores. While there, they are sucked into a vortex that takes them to Avalar. All three of the Avalar worlds are in danger of falling under the power of a pint-sized dictator named Ripto.
This game builds excellently upon its predecessor, Spyro the Dragon. Spyro gets new abilities, and the game provides new power-ups that form the basis for a lot of new puzzles and challenges!

Spyro: A Hero's TailPlatforms: Game Cube, Playstation 2, Xbox Spyro: A Hero's Tail takes you back to the world that tough little dragon, for all-new platforming adventure! Spyro must save the Dragon Realms from an evil dragon who has planted life-sapping dark gems all over the Dragon Realms.
This game does much to make up for its predecessor, the disasterous Enter the Dragonfly. Spyro is back, in a game much more remeniscent of the first three of the series. Spyro earns new abilities, makes new friends, and solves new puzzles.

Spyro: Attack of the RhynocsPlatform: Game Boy Advance In a terrible mishap, Spyro, Sparx, and the Professor have inadvertently torn a hole in the fabric of space between the Rhynoc and Dragon Realms. Now, at the command of the elusive Ripto, droves of Rhynocs are pouring into the Dragon Realms in yet another attempt to make life miserable. Spyro must help the Professor close the hole quickly before both the gate and Ripto's giant ego get too big and the two realms fuse together - permanently!

Spyro Collector's EditionPlatform: Playstation This set contains the first three Spyro games: Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage, and Spyro: Year of the Dragon.

Spyro: Enter the DragonflyPlatform: Playstation 2 Gnasty Gnorc and Ripto are back with a plan to steal the Dragonflies of the Dragon Realm. With help from new and old friends, Spyro must avoid obstacles, jump on platforms, ride vehicles, collect gems, and find a way to return the Dragonflies and restore order to the Dragon Realm.
I have to level with you here.. This game is terrible. Whatever you do, don't buy this train wreck! Or if you have to play it, just rent it first and you'll see what I mean. The game is buggy, the characters (with the exception of Spyro himself) are animated very poorly, and the storyline doesn't even live up to Spyro's usual cheesy standards.

Spyro Orange: The Cortex ConspiracyPlatform: Game Boy Advance Spyro blazes his way into Crash's universe! Spyro has arrived in Crash's jungle, and is ready to take on the evil Dr. Cortex. Team up with your Bandicoot buddy to save the universe from the clutches of evil.

Spyro: Season of FlamePlatform: Game Boy Advance Spyro is back for the sequel to the hit-title of 2001, Season of Ice, for the Game Boy Advance. This time around all of the Fireflies in the Dragon Realms have been captured. Now Spyro must set off, along with Agent 9 and Sheila the Kangaroo, on an all-new journey to fiery island, where he will rescue the Fireflies and restore flame to the Dragon Realms!

Spyro: Season of IcePlatform: Game Boy Advance The action picks up as Spyro and his friends look forward to a well-earned vacation. Meanwhile, a small-time spell librarian captures Zoe and freezes fairies throughout the Fairylands. Along with Hunter and Sparx, Spyro sets out on a brand-new adventure to save Zoe and the Fairies of the Dragon Realms.
I didn't play through this game very far. From what I did play, I can say that it wasn't nearly as fun as its Playstation predecessors, but on the lower-graphics Game Boy Advance, that was to be expected. Overall, though, it does pretty well in continuing the Spyro legacy.

Spyro: Shadow LegacyPlatform: Nintendo DS Vivendi Universal's star dragon takes flight on the Nintendo DS with Spyro: Shadow Legacy. This time, Spyro takes on more of an RPG feel as he gains experience, learns new magic spells, and upgrades his fighting ability. The story of Spyro: Shadow Legacy involves the purple dragon battling an evil wizard who has drawn upon the power of the Shadow Realm to destroy Spyro's peaceful land.

Spyro the DragonPlatform: Playstation Gnasty Gnorc decides to make the dragons pay for all of the insults they have directed his way. After dabbling in magic, Gnasty turns the gems that litter the world into his soldiers and changes the dragons into crystals. However, the magic spell missed a young dragon named Spyro.
This kicks off the long-running series of Spyro games, which I highly recommend! Even though there is a minor bug here and there in this first game, and the storyline is a little... cheesy? The gameplay is very enjoyable! I have had endless hours of fun with this game.

Spyro: Year of the DragonPlatform: Playstation Spyro: Year of the Dragon marks Spyro's third PlayStation game, and the little fellow keeps getting into deeper and deeper jams. In this 3D adventure he's determined to retrieve 150 eggs that the evil Sorceress has stolen from Dragonworld.
This is the third and, in my opinion, the very best spyro game that has been released to date! Not only does it draw from the best characteristics of both of the previous Spyro games, but there are four new playable characters that assist Spyro on his quest!
