Escaflowne - Dragons and DestinyHitomi is a sensitive teenager who reads tarot cards for her friends and nurses a crush on the track star Amano. As she runs on the school track, Hitomi has a vision of a young man battling a dragon; a few days later, the man and the dragon materialize. Hitomi and Van, the young warrior, are carried off to the mysterious world of Gaea, with its odd mixture of advanced technology and medieval culture.

EvolutionIra Kane and Harry Block discover an alien organism in an asteroid that has crashed to Earth. Though initially a simple goo it rapidly evolves into a variety of creatures that threaten to take over the sleepy town of Glen Canyon. Soon the government (and army), led by Allison Reed and Russell Woodman who are quite familiar with Ira Kane, attends the scene and attempt to control the situation.
Not a dragon movie you say? You can't tell me that the "alien bird" in the middle of the movie isn't a dragon! Alien dragon maybe, but dragon nonetheless. It's a very funny movie overall, with some scenes that had me rolling.
