Dragon World: The Legend ContinuesThis good-natured kids' movie from director Ted Nicolau focuses on a teenage magician (Drake Bell), who must overcome many dangerous obstacles in order to save the life of the world's last living dragon

DragonheartA brave but disillusioned knight, Sir Bowen (Quaid), joins forces with Draco, the last surviving dragon (voiced by Connery), to defeat the tyrant King Einon (Thewlis), with whom both Dragon and knight are linked by fate. Also tagging along for Bowen's quest is the monk Brother Gilbert of Glockenspur (Postlethwaite), and a young village girl Kara (Dina Meyer), whose father fell victim to Einon's tyranny.
This is most definitely the greatest dragon story ever put on a movie screen. Despite the fact that Draco is the first fully computer-generated main character in any major film, he is animated beautifully. The story itself leaves little to be desired. Any serious fan of dragon lore should have this movie in their collection!

Dragonheart: A New BeginningWhen Geoff, an orphaned stable boy (Chris Masterson), discovers Drake (voice of Robby Benson), the world's last living dragon, he realizes that his dream of becoming a knight in shining armor can now come true. Together, they soon face challenges that turn them into heroes.
If you're looking for a sequel to Dragonheart that's as good as its predecessor, this is not it. However, it is a very fun story about a boy and a young dragon and the adventures they have growing up together. I had fun watching it, and others will too.

DragonworldYoung John McGowan travels to Scotland to live at his grandfather's castle after he loses his parents in a traffic accident. At the wishing tree he conjures up a dragon friend, Yowler. They grow up together, and one day documentary film maker Bob Armstrong and his daughter Beth stumble upon Yowler. Hungry for fame (and money), Bob convinces John to "rent" Yowler to local unscrupulous businessman Lester McIntyre.
This is a very cute movie; children will love it.

Dungeons and DragonsThe story concerns the evil wizard Profion (played by noted character actor Jeremy Irons) who attempts to control red dragons with a powerful artifact. As heroes destined to stop this cataclysmic event are Ridley and Snails (Justin Whalin and Marlon Wayans), two thieves who quite simply happen to be at the wrong place at the wrong time.
This isn't the greatest movie in the world by any means. The acting is alright, but the storyline is mediocre at best. However, it's not all bad, because it does feature lots and lots of dragons.

The movie opens as he finally gets his hands on the artifact, a mysterious black orb, and frees himself from the undead curse.

Old Merlin tells him the story of his own childhood, when he first learned to trust in himself: a tale about fighting dragons, chasing armies and a young boy's prophetic dreams. Merlin's story inspires young Arthur with the confidence he will need to become a great king.
